Tensions are very high, even after the week-long break.

prom, tests, requirements and all the other usual crap
i want to fade away...but i shan't...
there are still a bajillion things i need to clear before i can fall into the pits

and i also have to ask *ehem* her
so yeah...another task crammed onto one spot with math and str and chem and ....blegh on top of the other things in my to-do list

my brain can't take this anymore O_o

the past...months(since i haven't updated for very long)were...interesting
in non-chronological order:

nagupdate na rin
sa pagkahabahabang panahon na wala ako ginawa nung summer after my previous post
ngayon lang ako lumabas sa aking kweba upang magupdate

simulan natin sa enrollment:

Gumising ako ng 6 ng umaga upang maghanda sa aking pagpasok sa eskwela para makapag-enroll. Excited na ako dahil makikita ko na ulet mga kaklase ko (eekee opal+dahlia07), at syempre...malalaman ko na rin kung saang ~~impyerno~~ lupalop ako hahantong.

Pagkalipas ng approx. 1-1 1/2 hours, napapirma ko na ang aking papeles at naghahanda na akong magpakakuba sa bigat ng aking libro. Syempre, dahil di ko natandaan ang law of the commons, napatagal ako dahil halos buong batch nandun na since 6 pa siguro. Syempre, during that time din, natapos ko na ang chika sessions with the other people, at nahagilap ko na rin ung mga section ng natapos ng mag-enroll (pinaghiwahiwalay kami ng dahlia...tama ba un???).

natapos na rin ang pagkuha ng libro sa property (shucks ang bilis ng system ngayon ah...'steeg)

dahil sa gene na natanggap ko for extreme procrastination, malamang, late ako! pero I didn't miss much...so okie lang.

oh well....sacrifice at magtiis na ginagawa ko ngayon...haay...

perio, fair, doppler and clearance week...

been a LOOOOOOOOOONG time since the last post...
maybe not that long, but still... I feel that this blog has long been neglected...
well...perio week has come and gone...
sighs of relief and bitter regret circulated through the air when the final bell rang.
Time for lunch.
But wait! some teachers have some surprises in store! (pinoy LT, speedchecking ng perio by sir mardan)
and of course, what everyone was waiting for...
empty fair grounds!!!
wow...what a way to end the grueling and tiresome perio...
*sigh*
the fair was dead, and for three days straight, the air was filled with nothing but the horrid stench of doing nothing, except for the occasional screams from those biking around...but still...it was as dead as roadkill... minus car tracks and gore

oh well...what would you expect...people were still pre-occupied with lingering thoughts of the perio, and of course some other requirements that they wouldn't care about the fair.
----------------------------

The climax of the fair was the Doppler effect...so..yeah...the best way to enjoy the dead is by killing it (take it from our experience by playing house of the dead on someone's laptop on lazy afternoons..that should give you an idea)

oh well...here are some highlights of the concert and the fair(some w/ pics!!!)

-got a henna tattoo on my left forearm, reading "extremely evil" in chinese
-cramming the pinoy project (and finishing it with a giant whoop a few days later)
- made my parents buy me a copy of Mayonnaise's debut album (and have it autographed later on)

-having my copy of Cambio's cd autographed
-jumping up and down to Cambio and Sugarfree...woot

-watching Fatima admire the bassist of Orang and Lemons...

-and also watching her burn calories a bajillion times more through jumping than in any other non-rock concert
- watching the fair die
- seeing Aj catch Kris Dancel's bracelet (i hate you Aj....)

- taking pics..yay...memories

eh ano kaya sa clearance week?

The horse, the dragon and the pig in the big city

Isang araw, may isang horse, isang dragon, at isang pig na napasyahang maglakbay at makipagenkwuentro sa isang bahagi ng malaking ciudad, may katamtamang distansya mula sa kanilang paaralan.
Ninanais nilang pumunta roon sa lugar na iyon upang maghanap ng mga bilog na plastic na ginagamit sa mga box na pinagmumulan ng mga boses ng taong kumakanta ngunit wala silang katawan.

Lumabas sa gate ang tatlo,at nagusap sila ukol sa paraan ng paglalakbay roon.
Napag-desisiyunan nila na mag-tataxi sila.
10 minuto ang nakalipas. hindi pa rin sila nakasakay at pinapagalitan na ng horse at dragon ang pig,
dahil ang pig ang nag-suggest na mag-taxi sila. Tumawid sila sa isla sa gitna ng kalye.
5 minuto ang nakaraan, at hindi pa rin sila nakakasakay.
Bumalik sila sa harapan ng paaralan at naghintay muli. Sa puntong ito ay iniisip na ng horse na pinagtatawanan sila ng mga pedicab drivers sa tapat ng paaralan dahil di sila marunong mag-commute.

Inamin ng dragon na hindi sya marunong mampara ng taxi. pinagtawanan lamang sya ng pig. nainis ang dragon at nanahimik na lamang ang pig.

pagkalipas ng 30 segundo....

Namataan ng tatlo ang isang taxi sa kabilang kalye. wala itong laman, ngunit kailangan ng tatlo na tumawid muli patungo sa island upang makasakay rito. agad-agad na tumawid ang tatlo, at dahil natuto na ang dragon sa pagpara, nakasakay rin sila sa wakas.

ilang minuto ang lumipas, at nakarating na rin sila sa destinasyon nila.

pinasok ng tatlo ang gusali, sa isang lugar na tinatawag na "NBS".

-YAY!!!! we won second place in the integ. proj!!!! I must admit that it was quite unexpected, because for 2 days mithi and shayne crammed the SPANKIN' NEW, INFINITELY BETTER COLORED COMIC BOOK!!! wohoo!!!

sayang...if we crammed it in one day i'm sure we could have gotten first place... *acts disappointed*

-uh...lemme see...we had this musical presentation for music just this week...
and we also crammed it in...uhm... five days? make that 2.5 days since the real rehearsals were done on the day we were to present...and all other days were spent on..."planning"...so..yeah...
I think we got it good...coming from the fact that dahlia 07 has got the best performers cornered

- next was achievement tests...so lame....you've got to, like, study the past year's lessons in a few days...and that's just a starter. It's like you're going through hell and back a second time now...so...why bother? in the immortal words of AJ:

These past few days were hectic.
Considering the fact that it's the first week back from vacation, we could safely
conclude that the system was made by sadists. It also contributes to a growing conspiracy that Marquis De Sade is still alive and is the system manager.

In my head, anyway.

I could breathe easier, now that I've got minimal activity this weekend (salamat sa organizer Nico!!!).

Me and AJ (correct grammarage?) just crammed for one and a half days (i think) our
Filipino project, which had been given a maximum of 3 WEEKS to finish.

fun day...really...just ate macaroni salad till I burst...
played FFTA up until the "present day" mission
went to church at 10 pm...the dramatization was cute and there was a violinist in the choir box...
kewl...
went back home and ate some more macaroni salad...haha
there was no noche buena....because most of us were absolutely stuffed after
dinner...so it seemed kind of a waste to continue eating after midnight knowing that you won't eat anything anyway..haha
then I played badminton with ate bhing!!! haha...time to burn some calories!!!

I woke up late yet again....*sigh
I usually don't wake up that late..but I dunno...
I'm suddenly experiencing insomnia...again...it's a disease I tell ya...actually it is....
oh well...
the last time I experienced insomnia like this was like...6 months before entering pisay...
during those times I would find myself contemplating on what would happen if I pass the entrance exams to pisay (these thoughts of which turned out to be radically different from what I'm experiencing now...haha!) and if i failed...but hopefully I passed...WOOHOO!!!

anyway...
we went to cyberzone earlier, just to browse amongst the gazillion shops in there that sell cellphones and find anything that tickled my mom's fancy...how sad...she did find one she liked...some samsung phone that apparently was exactly the same as the one used in that "lovers in paris"...

Did it ever cross your mind the notion to quit school? At some point in your academic life, did you ever think about leaving the place?

If I were asked those questions, I'd definitely shout out a big, fat "YES!!!!!"
Why?... why not?

If your school sucked like mine, or tormented it's students like mine, or forced them to do an impossible amount of work without any benefit apart from grades and points; you'd definitely leave the moment you stepped onto it's premises.

But I didn't, even though i'm suffering at times some pretty unbearable pressure. You see, even though the system is rotten, the benefits you recieve aren't what you expected, and much of yourself is lost in books and researches, there's this "charm" that attracts you. For me, that is.

Don't get me wrong, you don't recieve the torture alone. You pretty much suffer with everybody else there. And I think that because you get to recieve the pain like everybody else, it kind of "binds" you to the place. Fun...

Group torture a.k.a group "work" is one of the things that makes staying in that hellhole worthwhile. Lots of times, you get to foster friendly relations with lots of people, and at some times you get to be really close with others. I think that being with people whom you share interests, hobbies, favorites, dislikes and other stuff makes the whole point of staying in the place worthwhile. harhar...

haha...what a joke...life i mean. At the lowest pit on the lowest level on earth you get to stay with people that share your pain. Sometimes I think, when I do think, life is just so...malabo...

oh..by the way...seven days before christmas...technically now would be christmas break ...
so why am I b*itchin about school?
